ERROR 2: Temperature sensor is not working. Replace the temperature sensor.
ERROR 5: Machine won't heat up. Place the machine in a room temperature for a day or so and try again.
ERROR 8: Brew group has malfunctioned. Replace the brew group piston O-Rings. Replace the brew group if necessary.
FILL BEANS: Coffee is too finely grounded. Adjust the grind to a coarser setting. The grinder conical burrs may be worn out or blunted. Replace the grinder burrs if the coffee maker has made over 3,000 cups of coffee. When replacing the burrs, thoroughly clean out the grinding chamber. Stop using dark roast or french beans. Oily beans are deemed hazardous and void warranty.
FILL SYSTEM: Water is unable to flow through the water circuit. There is a blockage somewhere within the water circuit. Consider thoroughly descaling the machine. Descaling is the single most important maintenance for all fully automatic espresso machines. Descale regularly every six months or so to help remove calcium sediments from water passages inside the machine. After descaling, the hot water temperature will improve and machine will generate full jet of steam for steaming milk.
OPEN/CLOSE TAP: The steam valve (0010601) is leaking or blocked. Replace the steam valve. This valve is mounted on top of the thermoblock/boiler and switches between hot water and steam from the hot water/frothing wand.
